After Browse Safe Powered by Yahoo has been successfully added to your Firefox browser, your default search engine will be modified to Browse Safe powered by Yahoo. The default status of SafeSearch filter is ON. Type your search query in your Firefox’s address bar and click on “Search with Browse Safe Powered by Yahoo” in the autocomplete, you will see a page of safe results in the search feed with hazardous results filtered out.
If you want to use a different search engine to perform a one-time safe search, you can open the action window of the add-on, select your preferred search engine, and click on the SAFE SEARCH button. You will be redirected to the search result page of the selected search engine with the SafeSearch filter on.
